Lesson 11

The Distributive Property, Part 3

Problem 1

For each expression, use the distributive property to write an equivalent expression.

  1. \(4(x+2)\)
  2. \((6+8)\boldcdot x\)
  3. \(4(2x+3)\)
  4. \(6(x+y+z)\)

A:

\(16(x+20)\)

B:

\(x(16+36)\)

C:

\(4(4x+9)\)

D:
